The starts where a fox wakes up by the shore. Then you begin to explore the game’s world. The game does not explain its story to you directly. You understand through gameplay and finding manuals.

What you'll actually do
You get to explore different areas in the game. However, there are a lot of secret hidden around the world. Secrets like items, upgrades, and secret paths. if you’re curious enough, you’ll find many many secrets.
As you traverse the world, there are enemies in which you defeat. Resting at at a checkpoint replenishes your health and respawns enemies. Similar if you have played any souls-like games.
Theres alot of things to find in the game. However, the most important one for progress is the manual pages.
These manual pages are meant for you to read and understand for you to progress the game/solve puzzles/understand more about the story.

Why I keep thinking about it
At first i did not understand the game at all. I was just exploring and enjoying how the game looks, until i discovered one secret path. From there, i decided to lock-in and try to solve as many things as i can. I never got tired of the “a-ha!” moments and explored every inch of the world.
